Dr. Herman Chang

Dr. Herman Chang is the founder and CEO of Arete.

He spent 26 years at Delta Electronics, where he led R&D organizations of more than 1,000 engineers and established multiple power businesses from the ground up — among them solid-state transformers, micro-grid solutions, data center power, energy storage, medium-voltage drives, telecom and UPS systems, railway power, and EV on-board and DC fast charging. Under his direct guidance, those businesses generated more than $3 billion in revenue.

From 2019 to 2024, as Chief Technology Officer of Star Charge, he established the company's international business from a standing start, taking its products into more than 60 countries and to profitability in under three years.

Mr. Robin He

Mr. Robin He is the founder and President of Arete. Raised in Tennessee, he has spent his career turning engineering innovations into commercial success.

Rising through the ranks at Delta Electronics, he led its North American sales for UPS and network power products.

In 2004 he founded TEM Mobile Ltd., an international mobile phone company serving customers across South Asia, the United States, South America, and Europe. He went on to build global businesses in EV charging, energy storage and power conversion — technologies adjacent to the market Arete addresses today.
